Update Your Style
A 360 brand campaign to put Depop front of mind for freshening up your wardrobe post pandemic.
Creatively, we focused on the personal; from using bigger name creators to people who have Depop shops, making sure that the Depop user was always reflected in what we made.
Ads covered the exchange between buyers and sellers, and how pieces could translate to a range of different personal styles. As well as additional ads championing the city that you’re from, and how your style is inspired by it.
We handpicked over 40 different creators from all over the UK to shoot a range of videos and stills for us. These were made into social ads across Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat and YouTube, seen by 16.5 million people. The self-shot stills were used as OOH, connecting the Depop community on the streets to those in the adverts.
We then took things to the next level with a Hashtag Challenge on TikTok, with a branded lens, that reached 1.2 billion video views at a 15% engagement rate.

Hashtag Challenge
Taking the personal theme to the streets, we created a TikTok Hashtag Challenge called Destination Depop, encouraging people to create videos of them in their favourite Depop sourced looks around their local towns, whilst using a branded effect.
